two palantir engineers

Hey {first name}, wanted to present two engineers out of Palantir:

1. Forward-deployed engineer at Palantir, sent into enterprise environments alone to build AI tools that ship.

  • $12M in combined annual savings across two enterprises through automation and platform engineering
  • Led a team that cut $2M in annual operating costs for a national ISP, unifying terabytes of network data across 12+ disconnected systems
  • Pitched, designed, and led a contract to extract data from a 50-year-old mainframe supporting a divestiture
  • Built a self-healing Postgres platform from scratch in Go, Kubernetes and Terraform that drove $10M in annual savings

2. Palantir, now Meta, working on performance, infrastructure, and AI developer tools.

  • Built an AI agent that finds the cause of memory bugs on its own, cutting investigations from weeks to days
  • Built the automated pipeline that catches memory problems before they reach customers
  • Made Palantir's graph tool usable at 1,000+ nodes, where it used to freeze and stall
  • Shipped a Meta feature covering video metrics for 200,000 creators

Can I share more info if this fits any of your portcos?

His reply Reply from a C-suite and Operating Partner at Andreessen Horowitz asking to meet both engineers

A C-suite and Operating Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, asking to meet both engineers and looping in a16z's recruiting lead. Name and exact title redacted, the a16z domain left intact.

How the play ran

This is the same play as the one below, run again with different candidates. Two engineers out of Palantir, one forward-deployed and one now at Meta, presented to venture firms whose portfolio companies hire exactly that profile.

The goal was never to place someone at a16z itself. It was to get into the conversation. Their C-suite and Operating Partner replied the same week, asked to meet both engineers, and pulled in a16z's recruiting lead and his co-head.

That is the whole point of the play. One reply from a firm at that level puts our recruitment partner in front of a portfolio that hires continuously, and every introduction after that costs nothing more to earn.

His reply Reply from a venture capital and private equity Managing Partner agreeing to a portfolio introduction

The Managing Partner of a venture capital and private equity firm with 16 portfolio companies, agreeing to an intro.

How the play ran

This was an MPC play for one of our partners. The operator above is one of their MPCs. The goal was simple: get on the call. Once you are in the conversation you have options: pitch the MPC, the recruitment service, or another MPC. Getting on the call is the entire game.

On the call, the Managing Partner had no role for the MPC, but liked the value prop enough to introduce our partner into his portfolio. That intro turned into two signed Account Executive placements, both in telecommunications, at $125K to $240K base.

One VC relationship is worth far more than a single placement. This one firm opens the door to 15 other portfolio companies. Do even decent fulfillment across that network and it compounds into a money printing machine. One email got us in the door.

The campaign behind it
  • 1,280 prospects contacted
  • 804 received a second touch, 581 a third
  • 24 replies: 1 was this, 7 were passes, the rest were out of office
The stack we ran
  • AI Ark: pulls verified, send-ready contact details for every prospect on demand, so we build the whole target list in minutes instead of researching contacts by hand.
  • Instantly: warms the sending inboxes and runs the multi-step email sequence (the first touch plus the two follow-ups), tracking every reply in one inbox.
  • Scaled Mail: supplies the sending inboxes we run the campaign from.
  • Claude Code: automation.

Questions about the pilot

What actually happens during the pilot?

We run a full outbound campaign for your agency at zero cost. It is the same system we run for our paying clients.

  • We build you a dedicated outbound infrastructure
  • Track buying signals across your audience every day
  • Write the copy by hand
  • Run the outreach
  • Manage the replies
  • Pre-vet every prospect
  • Introduce you directly to the decision makers

This is not a stripped down campaign or a demo. It is the real thing, running on your real market, against companies you actually want as clients.

What do I walk away with?

Every client the pilot signs is yours, during it and after it. No clawback, no fee on anything it produced, and nothing to sign to keep them.

You also walk away knowing whether outbound works in your market, with real numbers instead of a guess: how many decision makers replied, what they said, and what it took to get in front of them.

Across paying clients the median time to first qualified introduction is 1.5 days, and the median time to first signed agreement is 16.5 days.

Introductions have landed anywhere from the same day the campaign launched to 5 days after it. Signed agreements vary far more: 2 days at the fastest, 133 at the slowest.

Is this right for my agency's size and niche?

Three things decide it: your average fee, your search process, and the size of the market you can sell into.

Only the first one is on you. Your average fee needs to be around $20K or more, because below that the margin does not support this kind of high-touch outbound.

The other two are ours to work out. We look at how you run a search and at how many companies in your market could realistically buy from you, then we tell you before the pilot starts whether we think it will work. If we do not believe we can produce results, we will say so on the call.

What does it cost?

Nothing. No credit card, no contract, no upfront deposit, no setup fee. We cover the tooling, the data, and the sending infrastructure.
